What is tea?
Tea is a drink made from the Camellia Sinensis plant. Green, Black, Oolong, White and a few other teas all come from the same plant! Each has a distinct flavor due to how the leaves were grown or processed. Tea contains a variety of antioxidants and L-theanine. The L-theanine is what mellows out the caffeine in tea; giving it the energetic effect we all love without the jitters!
What are Tisanes?
Tisanes are very popular and often called "tea", but aren't technically teas. They are an infusion of dried fruits & herbs used as a beverage or for medicinal effects. These have no caffeine and can heavily differ in flavor based on the herbs used in the blend.
Are these products organic?
We source our teas from small family farms that don't use harmful pesticides. Due to the costs of certification, not all of our suppliers are able to have official organic certifications, even though they operate under those practices.
